The application of trifluoroborate salts
Alkyl, aryl, and alkenyl trifluoroborate salts are compelling alternatives to boronic acids in Suzuki coupling and in rhodium catalyzed carboncarbon bond forming reactions. These salts are air and water stable, and in many cases eliminate the need to add either additional ligands or base for cross coupling.
